Dudhwa National Park
A PARADISE FOR RARE AND ENDANGERED SPECIES.
Dudhwa National Park, a jewel of the Terai region in Uttar Pradesh, is a breathtaking wilderness of dense forests, mosaic grasslands, and vast marshlands. As part of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, this park is one of the finest natural habitats for Bengal tigers and swamp deer, along with a thriving population of Indian rhinoceroses, sloth bears, and rare cats like the fishing cat and leopard cat. The park’s rich birdlife, boasting over 350 species, makes it a paradise for birdwatchers, while elephant safaris offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore this diverse ecosystem up close.

Dudhwa is home to all three of India’s most iconic large mammals, Bengal tigers, Indian rhinoceroses, and
Asian elephants, making it one
of the few places in the world
where you can see them
all in one park
Unlike most national parks in India that rely solely on jeep safaris, Dudhwa offers a unique elephant safari experience, allowing visitors to spot tigers, deer, and
exotic birds from the back of an Indian elephant.
Dudhwa is one of the last remaining strongholds of the Barasingha,
which was once on the brink of extinction. Their hooves are
specially adapted for marshy terrain, making Dudhwa’s wetlands
the perfect habitat.
